๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ Celebrating Success and Growth! ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ‰

Last updated: 18 March 2024

๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ Congratulations on this incredible success and growth! ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ‰

Last week’s visit to Camphill Wakefield for our pre-season check on the Becoming a Beekeeper programme was truly remarkable. The progress witnessed, thanks to the outstanding leadership of Raph Taylor and the dedicated team including Joseph Holderness, Nicola Davison, and volunteer Deborah Thomas, is nothing short of extraordinary. Their collective efforts have propelled the programme forward, securing at least two new participants for 2024.

Under Matt Wood’s expert guidance and Raph Taylor’s exceptional management skills, our dream has evolved into a tangible reality. The college now boasts multiple departments actively engaged in utilizing the bee by-products and exploring the enterprise aspects of the business.

Special thanks to Lily for her invaluable contribution in ensuring a smooth transition of the programme. As Lily embarks on a new chapter, we extend our support in her quest for a part-time role. Lily seeks opportunities in training or as an intern, or as a paid employee, focusing on horticultural or small animal-based roles. If you or anyone you know can assist Lily in her journey, please don’t hesitate to reach out. She is based in Yorkshire.

In the meantime, she will be volunteering at Camphill Wakefield for a few days in the summer term. Let’s continue to celebrate the power of collaboration, growth, and the spirit of giving back!
